Fuchs & Associés Finance is an independent European group specialising in multi-disciplinary fortune management, founded in 2000 in Luxembourg by Jean Fuchs.
The investment quality we offer our international clients reaps the advantages of the openness and competitiveness of the Luxembourg financial marketplace. It ranks ninth in the world, and has developed a full range of products and services over the last forty years. It offers the comprehensive approach and international knowledge desired by wealthy private clients. In addition to financial services for private individuals and families, Luxembourg is rated first in Europe and second worldwide in terms of investment fund management.
In our desire to be closer to a rapidly growing portfolio of European and Asian clients, the Fuchs Group continues to expand across a range of metropolises in Europe and beyond. So it was that two new offices were opened in Brussels and Geneva in 2008.
According to a survey by Deloitte’s Center for Financial Services – conducted on 25 of the world’s largest economies – the number of millionaires could more than double over the next ten years, with their wealth increasing from an estimated USD 92 trillion in 2010 to USD 202 trillion in 2020. The rebalancing of the world’s wealth will probably accelerate over the next decade, during which emerging economies and Asian markets are likely to prove more dynamic in terms of growth rates than the USA and Europe. The United States and Europe, however, will remain the worldwide centres of wealth over the next ten years.
The Fuchs Group, keen to play a part in this trend, created an entity in 2011 to provide Family Office services for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI): Fuchs & Associés Family Office. This independent department provides Global Family Office services, and is involved in the new excellence unit composed of the Family Office concept. The experts at this branch cover the full range of services for a Global Family Office approach, availing themselves of the best external specialists in succession planning, business governance, day-to-day management or even philanthropic ventures.

In line with his belief that “everyone is the author of his own fortune”, Jean Fuchs, a well-known figure in professional finance in the Luxembourg marketplace for more than twenty years, has driven the development of the Fuchs Group, the key stages of which were as follows:
- 1999 - Presidency of the Luxembourg Wealth Management Professionals Association (ALPP) and member of the CSSF Luxembourg Finance Sector Supervisory Committee.
- 2000 - Founding of Fuchs & Associés Finance SA in Luxembourg.
- 2008 - Official opening in April of the Fuchs & Associés Finance offices in Brussels, and of the Geneva offices in September.
- 2010 - Incorporation and presidency of LAFO (Luxembourg Association for Family Offices).
- 2011 - Creation of Fuchs & Associés Family Office.
